Governance
Funding transparency from the first dollar.
A public framework for separating purposes, payment routes, benefits and reporting.
The commitment
Project25 will identify who receives each type of contribution, what it may be used for, whether any tax receipt may be available, and what benefit a contributor receives in return.
Before accepting public funds
- Publish the legal name and contact details of the fundraising entity.
- Confirm the project target, estimated fundraising costs and intended use of proceeds.
- Separate event funding, charitable donations, sponsorship and personal support in both reporting and payment routes.
- Secure written permission before displaying partner logos or describing support.
- Publish cancellation, refund and surplus-fund treatment where applicable.
Legal review required
This framework is not legal advice. Final fundraising disclosures, privacy terms, receipting language and Alberta compliance copy must be reviewed for the chosen entities and payment flows.
